If you don't have enough space downstairs to unfold a three-part attic ladder, the two-part Junior 2B is the ideal alternative.

The Junior 2B consists of two sliding ladder parts, which limit the required tilting and space in the attic.

The hoisting mechanism, equipped with a special spring system, perfectly balances the trapdoor and the ladder. Therefore, maximum safety is ensured when opening it.

This model offers excellent value for money: sturdy, safe, and easy to operate.

Description of Junior 2B attic ladder - 2 sliding parts

• 2-part sliding ladder (lower part slides over upper part)
• Measured ladder width: 42 cm
• Steps: 8.5 cm
• Stringers: 9.2 mm
• 2 metal railings

• The steps are notched and secured into the stringers
• All woodwork is treated with an insect repellent product

Ideal opening sizes for an attic ladder:

Length: up to 1.40 m

Width: up to 0.80 m

Trapdoor:

• 18mm plywood
• Sturdy and shapeable

Coating:

• 18mm block plate with frames underneath

Iron fittings:

The hoisting mechanism, equipped with a special spring system, keeps the hatch and the ladder perfectly balanced. Therefore, maximum safety is ensured when opening. An adjustable stop keeps the hatch and the ladder at the correct incline. All load-bearing pivot points are equipped with bronze cores to prevent wear. There is also a metal pipe railing (Ø 20mm). All elements are rustproof due to galvanization.

• The stated price includes 21% VAT
• For buildings older than 5 years, with a maximum living area of 200m², the only property of the builder/buyer and mainly used as a private residence, the VAT rate of 6% applies.
• The stated price is up to a total vertical height of the underside of the ceiling 2.65m.
• When ordering an attic ladder, an appointment will be made to measure the opening sizes. If these are not within the maximum sizes, an extra charge will be applied, see options.
• Installation is included provided that the location is within a radius of 35km around our company. If it is further, an extra charge will be applied.
• A quote will always be offered. This must be confirmed before the ladder is ordered.
• This is custom work and therefore not standard in stock.
